If you have arrived from the UK to Bærum after December 7, you must order a corona test and notify the municipality.
Everyone who has arrived from the UK after 7 December must contact the municipality in which they are staying, to have a covid-19 test, as soon as possible. This also applies to those who have completed the 10-day quarantine period.
The aim of these new measures is to get a better overview of the situation with the mutated virus.
The main rule about quarantine for 10 days still applies. In addition, you must:
- Get a Covid-19 test (PCR test) within 24 hours after arriving in Norway and then a new test no earlier than seven days after entry from the UK for everyone arriving after 21 December.
- Get a Covid-19 test (PCR test) as soon as possible for if you arrived in Norway from the UK between 7–21 December.
- Everyone who comes to Norway after midday Monday 21 December must register. This applies to arrivals from all countries. The self-declaration form can be found here.
- Notify the municipality where the traveller is to stay. Use the registration form at the bottom of this page.
